What wax is used in your candles?
I use 100% soy wax in all of my candles. All of my candles are paraffin-free!
What's in your fragrances?
My fragrances are a blend of essential oils and phthalate-free fragrance oils, ensuring a clean and safe burn for the air in your home.
Should I buy a single wick or three-wick candle?
It depends on what you want to use them for and your own personal preference. Single wicks are ideal for smaller rooms or if you don't like as much fragrance, whereas three-wick candles are ideal for larger, more open spaces or if you prefer a stronger fragrance.
Do your wicks contain lead?
No, my wicks contain only cotton and paper threads woven together.
Do your candles produce soot?
Thanks to the soy wax and lead-free cotton wicks, I find that my candles produce minimal to no soot. Ensure you trim your wick before each use and you should have a similar experience.
How long should I burn my candle for?
Burn your candle for at least 1-2 hours, or until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge of the container. This prevents "tunneling", which is when the wax pool doesn't reach the edge of the container and starts to leave wax around the edges, creating a "tunnel'.
Additionally, avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours, giving the candle 2 hours to cool and trimming your wick before relighting. This ensures that the candle wick does not get too long and bend over into the wax.
My candle is tunneling. What can I do?
Use a spoon or similar object to scrape the excess wax off of the sides of the candle and create an even, flat surface from the wick to the edge of the jar. Ensure your wick is trimmed to 1/4" and light the candle, letting it burn for 1-2 hours so the wax pool reaches the edges. Ensure you always burn your candle until the wax pool reaches the edges to avoid tunneling in the future.
How do I trim my wick? Why should I trim my wick?
Use scissors or a wick trimmer, and cut the wick to approximately 1/4" before each burn. Trimming your wick ensures a clean, even burn each time and extends the life of your candle.
Are your candles vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, my candles contain no animal products and none of my ingredients are tested on animals.
